The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has said that Nigerians do not need certified court documents to prove that his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Bola Tinubu, is a drug lord and money launderer.
Sowore said this while reacting to the certified court documents released by a United States court in which Tinubu was indicted of drug dealing and money laundering in 1993.
The AAC presidential flag bearer said that many Nigerians, especially Tinubu’s supporters, knew that the former Lagos State governor had always been a crook and druggie but hypocrisy did not let them accept the truth.
He further noted that like Tinubu, supporters of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, know that he was a thief but they blindly refused to accept it, just as the supporters of Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) failed to accept that the former governor of Anambra State was not different from Atiku.
“You just don’t need any “certified” court documents to tell you Bola Tinubu @officialABAT is a drug lord and money launderer. Some of those sharing these documents today knew @officialABAT has always been a crook and druggie but hypocrisy won’t let them accept it then, the same way some won’t accept @atiku is a thief and @peterobi isn’t any different from @atiku and @officialABAT. They’re all an alumni of the same crime family,” Sowore wrote on his Twitter page.
Certified documents of a U.S. court judgment’s indictment of Bola Tinubu for drug trafficking and money laundering have been making the rounds on the internet since Tuesday, corroborating 2008 reports by SaharaReporters and other media outfits.
